Most people experience some kind of problem within their lifetime that is difficult to deal with alone. The counselors at Therapy International offer individual, couples and marriage counseling to the public, as well as assessment services, group sessions and educational classes. We take insurance and offer a sliding fee scale for those who do not have insurance.
Therapy International is proud to begin working with its first graduate therapy intern,Kimberly McCreary, Life Coach. With Kimberly's self-pay program, you information stays completely confidential (since no information goes to an insurance company) and she is able to offer a sliding fee scale. This scale allows you to pay according to you financial ability, thus making counseling possible for those who normally could not afford it. In this way, clients receive the benefit of more attention to their case at a lower cost.
Kimberly
McCreary received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of South
Florida and is receiving her Master's in Clinical Counseling and
Psychology from Troy University. She has worked with children ad
adolescents since 2003 in foster care and clinical settings for the
Children's Home Society and Devereaux. She is currently working in
clinical practice as an intern treating individuals who suffer from
Depression, Anxiety, Bi-polar disorder, Substance abuse, Suicidal
Ideation, Stress, PTSD, and various Adjustment disorders. She works with
couples for premarital and marriage counseling as well. Kimberly also facilitates a group on empowering women; see our calendar for time and date. To find out more about Kimberly's extensive accomplishments, please click here.

Hero, Certified Therapy Dog, is a three year old Golden Retreiver. He has earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award and is a Delta Society Certified Therapy Dog. He is an invaluable asset to Therapy International, where he spends his 12 hour day helping people (granted, he does take numerous naps during this time). Hero's special interests are learning new tricks, romping with his friends, and long walks on the beach.
Akela, Certified Therapy Dog, is a four year old Husky/German Shepherd. He has earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award and is a Certified Therapy Dog. Akela can be found in schools, conventions, walk-a-thons, working with clients in the counseling office and other venues. Akela likes to out-wit people on a daily basis; he turns on lights, closes doors and genuinely enjoys humans of all ages. In the counseling setting, we can count on Akela to do the unexpected, and always in a humorous manner!
